December 5th – Tree Planting and Seedballs Broadcasting Event
Eco Green Initiative (EGI) and Jumuisha CBO would love to invite you for a Tree Planting and Seedballs broadcasting activity taking place on Monday, 5th December 2022, from 9AM at Kwa Kamba Hill, Emali, Maukeni County.
Mark your Calendars. Let us put in the effort this December to plant as many trees as possible!
Planting with Seedballs requires more than 50% less effort tha regular planting, so do not worry about fatigue or too much labour.

EGI in conjunction with Jumuisha initiative and Time and Life group had a tree planting season at Kwa Kamba Hill in Emali to Celebrate the International Volunteers Day.
Eco Green Initiative donated 100 tree seedlings and 5.5 Kgs of Seedballs.
In attendance were, Director of Gender and Social Services, Makueni County, Madam Nyalita, Chief Mulwa Emali Loc. Ass. Chiefs Michael and John of Emali and Kwakakulu.
During the event which took place on 5 December 2022, Times and Life Initiative took the responsibility of protecting and watering the seedlings at least 5 times / month, depending on rain pattern.
